Vin Precast
Premium marketing site for a precast concrete + PEB manufacturer
The company
Vin Precast Private Limited — founded 2012, Hyderabad-headquartered, with a 40,000 m² production plant in Barwaha, Madhya Pradesh. Government-approved vendor for MPPKVVCL and major EPC contractors. Average team experience past the 30-year mark, much of it on the floor.
Nominal capacity sits around 120,000 units per year across product lines, dispatched on an own logistics fleet.
Four product lines, one D&D model
- PSCC poles — pre-stressed centrifugally cast concrete poles for distribution and transmission. The MPPKVVCL-approved line.
- RCC piles— reinforced concrete piles cast to the customer’s civil spec.
- Precast civil elements — slabs, panels, beams, stairs. The fabrication line that compounds with the pile work.
- PEB structures — pre-engineered building kits for rapid erection on industrial sites.
The manufacturing spread
The Barwaha plant runs an eight-step process from raw intake to dispatch — batching → reinforcement cage prep → tensioning towers (for spun lines) → centrifugal cast → steam curing → NABL-affiliated QA lab → finishing → loading on own fleet. The marketing site walks visitors through each step instead of hiding it behind a brochure download.
Architecture
- Next.js 15 App Router on Vercel · React 19 · Tailwind v3.4 · Framer Motion for the editorial reveals.
- Prisma + Postgres for quote and contact persistence; every inquiry routes to ops with a typed shape.
- Resend for inquiry mail (auto-reply to the prospect, alert to ops).
- Brochure builder — a programmatic `scripts/build-brochure.ts` using `docx` + `pdf-lib`, gated behind an email gate so leads land qualified.
What I learned
- Heritage industries reward editorial restraint. Less hero video, more accurate manufacturing detail. Typography earns the premium feel, not animations.
- A gated brochure beats an inline PDF dump for B2B sales follow-up — the conversation starts qualified.
- D&D positioning (design + delivery) turns the marketing surface into a sales tool, not a leaflet.
